We bought a farm
so our kids could ride.
Two families from Annapolis. Two years searching. One piece of land where riding became our therapy — and now, it's yours to share.
Serving in the military and working as a first responder takes a toll on your body and mind. Riding became our therapy.
After years of looking for legal places to ride near our home in Maryland, our two families spent close to two years searching for the right piece of land. We were looking for private acreage, water nearby, real accommodations, and somewhere family-friendly. We found a 93-acre farm at Lake Anna and turned it into the off-road retreat we'd always wanted to drive to.
We built it for ourselves first — purpose-built tracks, miles of trail, a 100-yard range, two full houses sleeping twenty-three. Then we opened it to other families who'd rather ride than scroll.
The Kruthaupts — Alex, Anne, Clara, Eliana, & Cecilia.
The McAdoos — Scott, Kirby, Garrett, & Scotland.
Neighbors. Now business partners.
We're getting ready to open a second farm — 720 acres in Powhatan, Virginia. A day-riding park an hour west of Richmond. Same standards. New ground.
